With all certainty Don Mclean wasn't dreaming too much when he decided to write about Vincent Van Gogh. The song came out shining in 1971, becoming the number 1 hit in the UK in 1972. The lyrics, the music, the voice and feeling behind this wonderful arrangement have been inspiration for thousand of other artists who one way or another wanted to pay their respect to this wonderful artist that died exactly 121 years ago, committing suicide in France. Don's translation of the artist is so perfect that it deserves an eternal place in history!
